This page is accurate for students on courses accredited by the University of South Wales (formerly Glamorgan). It has not yet been updated to include advice for students whose courses are accredited by the University of Wales (i.e. courses based in Newport).

Accommodation Services
For all accommodation related queries including, halls of residence and private sector housing, contact Accommodation Services.
Education Drop-in Centre
Offering optional, extra study support to all students, the Education Drop-in Centre provides assistance with your academic development, including, essay writing, presentations, numeracy and grammar.
Enrolment and induction
Enrolment and induction is an essential process for becoming a student, if you have any queries refer to our Enrolment and induction reference page. For online enrolment read our Online enrolment information guide .
Faculty Advice Shops
For assistance with all queries related to studying at the University, contact your Advice Shop . If you are unsure of which Faculty you belong to, any of the Advice Shops will be able to help you in the first instance. Or, if you are logged into Glamlife go to Your Account – Academic Details tab and it will tell you which Faculty you are in.
International Student Support Service
The International Student Support Service offers information and advice to International Students on a range of non-academic issues such as immigration, finance, health and daily life in the UK.
IT, Media and Technical Services
For all IT-related queries (such as activating or resetting your password, printing, Blackboard and computer regulations) refer to your IT, Media and Technical Services channel. If you still can’t find the information you need, then contact IS Customer Support.
Library
The University’s library and media services are located in the Learning Resources Centre (LRC). For all queries relating to Library and Media services, refer to your Library channel.
Students’ Union
The Students’ Union offers representation, the chance to meet new friends, play sport and lots more. For all queries including, NUS cards, clubs and societies and events contact the Students’ Union.
Student Services
The University’s Student Services department offers a range of services, offering information, advice and support to students. The Department consists of the following services: Careers, Counselling, Disability and Dyslexia, Health, Mental Wellbeing, Resident Tutors and Student Money.
